The TRADITOM research project explores the genetic resources of traditional tomato varieties in several European countries.
The project coordinator, Professor Antonio Granell of Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (Valencia, Spain) has assembled a multi-national team of experts from sixteen European partner institutions to foster the conservation of traditional tomato varieties and increase their competitiveness in the global and local markets.
