my project - remote controlled robot - arduino controlled by iPhone via TCP by Amitay Drummer
1. 00:00 turning on the robot and check the server on the cellular module is loading properly and listening
2. 0:57 using my wireless keyboard /mouse I'm tapping the button (1:32) in the iPhone app I made (running on an emulator) which sends a custom command (plain ascii text: "forward") on TCP protocol.
2. I programmed the cellular module on the robot to listen and wait for the commands on a specific port (the cellular module is the server side). the robot is connecting to the laptop only for tracking the output of the robot/cellular module it is absolutely not necessary for the robot to get the commands and drive (as you can see in the end of the video - the robot response to the commands while its completely disconnected from the laptop.
3. when the cellular module receive the word "forward" , the Arduino module gives the engine driver a command to move forward (1:39)
