As a freelance translator, I have translated documents from Hungarian to English in a diverse range of thematic areas for companies, self-employed customers, law-offices. In particular, I have made translations of legal documents, contracts, deeds of foundations, documents related to acquisitions and accounting documents for the largest event organizer company, a dairy products wholesaler, a construction firm and law firms. I also made translations of historical and archival documents as part of a large scale research project on the history of Hungarian Jewish communities.

From English to Hungarian, I made translations of accounting documents, contracts, script of 'Walking with Dinosaurs' a large scale arena show, documentaries and a Leonardo Da Vinci exhibition. I also translated the software manual of an online ticketing and payment system.

I have written in its entirety or contributed to the preparation of various research papers in the areas of reintegration of migrants and human trafficking as deliverables of projects having a research component at the International Organization for Migration (IOM) where I worked fourteen years. I wrote mostly in English, less frequently in Hungarian.

I undertook the English language proofreading of several academic papers on trauma psychology, one on theoretical physics. I also proofread marketing and sales promoton documents.

I worked at the International Organization for Migration (IOM), an international, intergovernmental agency for fourteen years. During this time, I developed numerous project proposals in the areas of migrant integration, reintegration of returning migrants, countering human trafficking, awareness raising campaigns and other areas related to the mandates of the organization. Some were submitted for funding to the European Union, others to the respective national governments of various different countries, USAid and private donors. I have extensive experience in writing proposals, designing the corresponding budgets, elaborating the implementation timeline and timing of resource allocation. Furthermore, I am knowledgeable in ensuring the coherence and consistency of project objectives, implementation methods, deliverables and indicators with the objectives to be reached. I wrote project proposals both in English and Hungarian. Additionally, I also possess significant project implementation skills, including coordination, monitoring, reporting and follow-up.
