Zendesk Translator based on Step Functions
The client asked to estimate possibility to migrate the existing Zendesk Translator service to AWS Step Functions engine. Zendesk Translator was implemented via AWS services - API Gateway, Lambda, EventBridge, ElasticSearch, Comprehend, Translator, CloudFormation.
I learned Step Functions specification, analyzed its restrictions and made a prototype.
In result I designed service that maximally moves the functionality from Lambda to Step Functions and other no-code AWS services. I prepared an illustrative Step Functions diagram and saved the service prototype definition in YAML.
After this work I am ready to implement services based on AWS Step Functions.
