My name is Yasser Salama, 37, and have a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Translation. In recent years, I have been working as a freelance translator and subtitler in the language pairs English to Arabic in the general field. My translation is meticulous and based wholly on deep research to provide the suitably equivalent word, term and style.
During my past work experience, I’ve worked on document translation, website and app translation and localization, as well as video subtitling. Using necessary tools, such as CAT tools, platforms and software. Machine translation is considered taboo, and I’d rather refrain from accepting any file than considering using it. This is my core principle in the translation profession.
